About Me
I’m a 21 year old female from just outside Toronto, ON, Canada and I’m about to enter my final year of college and I’ve suffered with my weight my entire life.
As a child, I was always larger than other kids and was constantly teased. As I hit puberty I was able to lose a lot of my baby fat, but I was still chubby. I then entered high school and began playing sports and was blessed with my lowest weight ever at 133.
Like most teenagers, my first year of college led me to gain 12 pounds and brought me up to my highest weight ever of 145. I managed to lose 10 pounds by doing the fitness tape Insanity. I was extremely pleased with the results after only completing the first 30 days of the workout. Unfortunately, after that I broke up with my longtime boyfriend of 5 years and began working a full-time job which left me with little time or motivation to keep up with the intense work-out regime.
After quite the hectic second year of college and rekindling my relationship, the holiday season came and went and I was up to my highest weight ever: 150 pounds.
I decided enough was enough, and since May 28th/12 I’ve been working out 6-7 times a week, and seen significant results since. I’m extremely pleased with my results, and I can’t wait to see what else I’m capable of. I’ve realized how important a healthy diet and workout routine are, and I plan to make this a lifelong commitment. I have also matured to realize that being healthy is more than just a number on the scale. Although I hope to lower that number, it’s not my main focus and I’m more concerned with lowering my body fat percentage. I’d rather have a muscular, toned body anyways. :)
Feel free to ask any questions, and I’ll follow back if I like what I see. :)
